Children are the closest to my heart. I cannot see them hurt in any way. That is why each year SMRC hosts large number of children to go on pleasure outings and see that these places are accessible to them. It was this desire that made SMRC take an active part in Abylimpics even though the Eastern Zone was represented by the Spastics Society in Kolkata.  It was also the policy of SMRC to include children in all legislation which was not specific to children. The CBR program, Camps with Rotary and Disaster Management etc were part of this desire to provide children with disabilities an equal access to rights. Inclusive education has been part of our progarmmes since 1985.
